About this game

+++ Winner of the "Indie Prize Europe 2013"-Award, Casual Games Association +++
+++ "Top 10 Android Game of 2013" (Android Qualityindex - pocketgamer.co.uk) +++

It was a wonderful day for our anonymous hero, at least until the moment when he was torn from his loved ones by a viciously sharp grappling hook.

Locked in a cramped cell on a planet far, far away, our hero could give in to despair and abandon himself to his fate. But with your help he can overcome gravity, turn worlds, and even โ€“ escape!

Solving the rotating, physics-based puzzles is easy - just use your finger to continuously turn the cell in both directions around our hero. Of course you also have to make clever use of the Freeze! button, which can overcome gravity. Sound simple? It is โ€“ at first...

Freeze! offers completely new and yet immediately intuitive game mechanics, delightfully gloomy graphics from the internationally renowned pop-up designer and illustrator Jonas Schenk, and a very sinister soundtrack from noted Swiss electronic/trance musician Karl Lukas.

Highlights of Freeze!

* use intuitive touch screen control to turn our heroโ€™s cell
* take on lasers, deadly traps, and cruel opponents
* unique style of illustration and collage just looks really good
* wonderful gloomy soundtrack from trance master Karl Lukas
* leaderboards & achievements โ€“ who can escape the prison worlds the fastest? (Google Play Games, Google+)

It's unique in its gameplay and visuals, and is focused mostly on using physics, so as it should be, it's coded well. But the sensitivity should be editable, or at the very least slightly higher. going in circles, or moving in general in the corners, is very difficult, and slightly unnecessarily so in my opinion, but I enjoy the game when I'm not cursing it out because turning and going in circles is a s 50/50 between wether the game will even do what it should. It is still a fun game overall.

Challenging, yet relaxing game. Excellent graphics and smooth play. Thankfully, there isn't any timer or pressure. Allowing you to play at your own pace. I haven't needed to use any of the tutorials or solution videos, but knowing that I have that option is cool. Not having any ads or pop-ups, thereby giving you more actual game time, is worth 3 stars.

I don't usually like games with ads, but I love the way this game incorporated them. You don't get ads randomly, you don't have a set amount of time before you get bombarded with ads, you only get ads if you need help. If you need tips or to skip a level you have to watch an ad. That's it. The game itself is a very simplistic concept, near flawlessly executed. Very fun, entertaining, and fair.
